The 1-click interface is enabled via the command line.  This interface can be used to perform automated scanning and indexing using a desktop icon or the scan button on your scanner.  It also enables integration with custom applications, explained in more detail below.

Server processing licenses may be added to any version of SimpleIndex.  Unattended processing is possible without a server license, but a user must be logged on to the workstation for it to execute.  Windows services run automatically when the computer is booted up, even if nobody is logged on.
