- Open the Help menu and choose Activate/Transfer License.
- Your key is in the drop-down under Enter Serial Number to Activate. Copy it from there.

Where do I find my license key?
In SimpleIndex, open the Help menu and choose Activate/Transfer License. The key is in the drop-down under “Enter Serial Number to Activate”. It is also in the email you received with your order.
A feature I paid for is not listed.
Contact support with the license key and the order number. We will check the order against the license and add anything that is missing.
What does “Version 11 (an upgrade is needed for version 12)” mean?
The license works with SimpleIndex 11 but not with version 12. Compare every license to see the upgrade options, or contact us if you think it should already cover version 12.
It says “Not activated yet.” Is something wrong?
No. The license has not been activated on a computer yet. It is activated the first time the key is entered in SimpleIndex on the computer that will use it.
I am moving SimpleIndex to a new computer.
Use Transfer in the SimpleIndex registration window on the old computer to release the activation, then enter the same key on the new one. If the old computer is gone, contact support and we will release it for you.
What is the Server Processing page count?
Server Processing runs jobs unattended and is licensed by pages per year. The page shows the yearly allowance and how many pages have been used so far.
Which key do I enter if I bought an add-on separately?
Always the key of your SimpleIndex license. If you were sent a separate key for an add-on and it is not reflected here, contact support and we will put the add-on on your main license.
