SimpleIndex can be deployed silently with your preferred tool. This includes the installation, registry and licensing. Please follow the instructions below.

    1. Extract the MSI file from the SimpleIndex.exe that you would download from the link above.  There are instructions for this on Stack Overflow here:  Extract MSI from EXE
    2. When you configure SimpleIndex for the first time, it creates a few registry keys for machine-wide settings and license activation. You will need to install SimpleIndex manually on a machine and go through the Global Settings Wizard to create these Registry Keys. Run the RegEdit.exe Windows tool and find the key for these setting here:

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SimpleIndex

    1. Once you do this, find the “Serial” Key in this Registry folder:

    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SimpleIndex\Registration

    1. Open the “Serial” Key and put in the v11 serial code that will be generated when you upgrade your license
    2. Export the SimpleIndex registry key and subkeys to a .REG file that can be integrated into your distribution script
