Can LoanStacker sort loan documents into investor stack orders?

Yes. Once each document in a loan file has been identified, LoanStacker can sort the documents into the stack order required by your investor or bank and export them as a single PDF in that order, ready for electronic submission.

Stack orders help at several points in the process:

  • Shipping loans. LoanStacker can prevent users from shipping a loan unless all required documents are present and in the correct stack order, avoiding costly delivery delays and errors.
  • Underwriting. Custom sort orders can put every document in the same order as the underwriter’s checklist, so they can work through the file from top to bottom.
  • Different investors. The same file can be re-sorted for each bank’s requirements without re-scanning.

Stack orders work with an LOS or with the standalone version of LoanStacker. Watch a loan file being sorted into a stack order.
