All processing settings in SimpleIndex are stored in a Job File. All of the Job File settings are configured in the Settings Wizard.

Hover the mouse over any option in the wizard to see a 1-2 sentence description of what it does. The wiki provides detailed descriptions of each option, with links to the related features and information. Many options have different behaviors for different file formats, database modes and other combinations of settings.

Each screen has a number of Advanced settings that are hidden because the default setting is appropriate for most jobs. Be sure to expand these if you can't find the setting you're looking for.

Starting the Settings Wizard[edit | edit source]
