XML

In SimpleIndex, XML is used in a number of ways. They are cataloged here.

• Job Files use XML to store all of the settings for your processing workflow.
• Index Logs can use XML to save index values associated with each document.
• SimpleExport can convert Index Logs in CSV or XML into any XML schema or text file format using XSLT.
• FineReader OCR can output full-page text to XML or provide Alto XML metadata for documents.
• Use Fixed fields to populate document index data from corresponding XML or JSON metadata files
• Populate PDF Forms from XML data to create human-readable documents for archival
