FineReader

From Simple Wiki

The optional OCR license enables the FineReader engine, providing greater speed, accuracy and output formatting options than the Tesseract engine included with the Standard license.

FineReader 9 is included with SimpleIndex versions 6-9. FineReader 11 is included starting with SimpleIndex 10.

Other features enabled by FineReader:

The Language Pack must be installed via the Global Settings Wizard in order to enable all languages.
