The Processing stage is started automatically after scanning or import has completed.

Automated processing performs the following tasks in the following order:

Each file is processed according to the batch Sort Order.
Each index field is processed in order, as defined on the Indexing & File Naming screen.
Image Clean-Up
Bar Code Recognition
Full-Page OCR
Zone OCR
Template matching
Dictionary matching
Autofill lookups
Fixed field calculation

The time it takes to perform automated processes depends on:

In this case, the user may do work in another application while processing and return to the batch once processing is finished.
