Images to PDF

To convert images to PDF with SimpleIndex, configure the File Output Settings to use PDF or PDF/A as the Image File Format.

When using OCR you can create searchable PDF files that have recognized text in a hidden layer while displaying the scanned image. These files can be indexed by full-text search engines, and the text can be highlighted for copy/paste in PDF viewers.
