Image Enhancement Options

The following image enhancement options are available:

Rotate Left and Right

Rotate the selected pages 90 degrees to the left or right.

Deskew

Straightens pages that were scanned crooked.

Despeckle

Remove "snow" that often appears on scanned or photocopied documents due to colored backgrounds, shading, dirt and other factors.

Remove Border

Eliminates the black border that often appears around the outside margin of scanned images. Some legal applications require this border to be kept in order to demonstrate that none of the page was cut off during scanning. However for most documents it simply causes the file to be bigger and the printer to use more ink when you print.

Hole Punch

Automatically remove hole punch marks on the top or side of selected images.

Invert

Reverse the black and white polarity of the selected images.

Crop

Manually select a region on the current page and crop the page down to that region. 9.8.8 Delete Delete the selected pages or files.
